  1. Best set I've ever owned Review by Bubba1083

After 20 years my ratchet just broke...of course I was over doing it (cheater bar) so I don't blame the tool at all.
Anyway, this set has been the best tool set I've ever purchased. It works on SAE or Metric and has never let me down.
I'm getting a replacement for the ratchet because I'm definitely a believer.
    Thanks Metrinch!!! (Posted on 9/14/2015)

  2. Awesome! Best socket set I have ever bought Review by Stevie B.

I too got these in the late 90's after seeing the late night infomercials. Also bought them at sear's :). I was skeptical but I needed a set of tools that was light and easy to carry in and out of junk yards. All my mechanic buddies were laughing at first, but soon they were asking to borrow them. Ha ha, sorry sucker! You can pack your 90 pound tool box in and out. I have used them for everything and throughout the years I lost a few sockets and the ratchet, plus one of the locks broke on the case but it is still going strong. Since some of the most used sockets were gone I had put it up on the shelf and forgot about it until tonight. My neighbor had to get his battery out of his truck and couldn't find a socket to fit the hold down nut. We tried every size regular socket in the drawer and then I remembered the metrinch! I got it out and sure enough we got the battery out with the 9mm-11/32's socket with no problems. Now I am searching the web for replacements for the missing sockets as I have a renewed love for this product once again. Yes its a little pricey but you will have it forever so its well worth it. It cant do everything, but it can do most things so its really a good deal. (Posted on 8/18/2015)

  3. 20 year user Review by Brent

I have bought 4 sets over the years. 1 set back in 1995 for myself which I still use in my garage. 1 set for a Mechanic friend for Christmas. 1 set recently for my 23 year old son that wants his own set and another new set again for myself to keep in my work van. Over the years my plastic case has come apart but the tools are still as good as new. I am amazed there is not more info out about these tools. (PS I used to work at a sears hardware store and you would not believe the amount of returned broken Craftsman tools that came thru the doors and were replaced. 55 gallon steel drums of broken tools sent back to warehouse.) I'll stick with my Metrinch tools! (Posted on 3/31/2015)

  4. Best ever Review by Anthony (Antonious Maximus)

Way back when they first advertised the 62 piece set on TV in like 1995 ish or so I think it was their only set then , maybe . Any way they say it was the last tools set you will ever buy and it was . Here it is almost 20 years later and I still have and use my set. Maybe a few small pieces missing , unusable ratchet and one of the wrenches is slightly bent
(stopped an engine from turning but did not give up the grip.Long story LOL).but the sockets, wrenches (including bent one) have never failed me. Can't knock the Ratchet because I put it threw Hell before the moving parts inside gave up their ghost. I am thinking of buying a bigger set when I can save the money up . No price is to high for a Metwrench set for me. It's just a matter of when I get the money saved I will purchase it. Good Job Metwrench yall did yall's thang with your tools. ********** That's 10 Gold stars (Posted on 8/1/2014)

  5. 19 years and still going strong!! Review by hippyengineer

I bought these in 1995 when the local brake place told me I couldn't do a brake job on my own. I started working on my vehicles and a whole lot of other things and I have not had a warranty claim yet. Even the plastic handle on the 1/4 socket handle is still perfect. Buy one of the sets and you can't go wrong. (Posted on 6/18/2014)

  6. I Retire My Craftsman Tool Set. Review by BangJo

After getting a set of these tools, I literally put away my 100+ piece Craftsman tool set. This well get the job done with a lot less pieces thus lighter and more compact and I never had to fumble for the standard or metric. Its pieces are much stronger than the Craftsman set too. I work on cars and everything around the house with this set and I have more than enough pieces to work at 99% of the job. Great Product. I have given 3 different set of these as a gift and they all loved it and thanked me for it and they too retire their old tool set. Awesome. (Posted on 2/17/2014)

  7. A+++++++ Product & The Best wrenches and sockets on the market !!!!!!!!!!! Review by metrnchGuy

I've had my 62 pc. set since 1990 and they still look & work as good as when I first got them. My brother is a master mechanic and he has spent several thousand dollars on his sockets and wrenches over the years. He told me he wish he would have bought these tools when I got mine because mine are still in excellent working condition and his had to be replace over the years. I'm handing mine down to my son who just became a master mechanic. I also will purchase the 72 pc set as a gift for him. Thanks Metrinch for making an outstanding tool for the working man. 8. 1st Promotion in Australia Review by Timewarp01

I bought my Combo Set when the promotion was first conducted on television in Australia way back when! I have carried this with me everywhere and I have had to call upon this set just so many times and it has never failed! I still have the original piece of foam that separates the upper and lower levels. I have lived near the ocean for a number of years and the Metrich set has never shown any signs of blemish by the salt air. This set is the best and I am just about to order one for my son in law who just graduated from the Harley-Davidson School in Phoenix Arizona. Well done! (Posted on 11/15/2013)

  9. 18 year old set Review by Metal Ryan

Seen the ad on tv all the time late at night in the early 90s. Bought a set and still use them every time I do a automotive task at home. Never have broke any but I have lost a few sockets and am looking into replacing them. Only downfall was the plastic case breaking in the hinge area with the first few months of use.
